This hand bag is inspired by Gertudris Bocanegra Independence Heroin. On September 16th of 1810, Gertrudis convinced her husband Lazo de la Vega to join the insurgents, when the rebel base stepped by their land both joined to act alongside Miguel Hidalgo, she organized a communication network operation in which women in the region had great relevance, she organized forces, recruited people and organized rebel meetings in Miguel Hidalgo’s home. In 1817 she was betrayed and, it is said that on the day of her execution before she died, her last words were to convince the military and people that witness her execution to join the cause of freedom.
